Woodlands homestead in the Shire of Bulla has been restored and is under the protection of the Department of Conservation, Forests and Lands. Catherine married Charles Stuart, a trainee naval architect from Belfast at St Francis Church Melbourne 23 Dec 1851. Family gradually moved north into NSW staying at Ballarat, Albury, Breddigowan, Nubba, Wallendbeen, Memagong, Lambing Flats and finally settled in the Harden-Murrumburrah area where they became farmers. Many of their 11 children were born at the various places they stayed as they slowly moved north. Charles died aged 54 and Catherine lived till she was over 90. Both are buried in the Murrumburrah cemetery.

Catherine and Charles Stuart followed Ellen and Joseph into NSW. The sisters lived close to each other and kept in close contact throughtout their married lives.

The family lived at Green Gully near Vaughan.James died in 1880. Isabella may have married William Tasker in February 1889. Isabella died 31 October 1911 at Castlemaine Hospital. Four children were burnt to death in a shepherd's hut at Gledfield Station, Ross Bridge in 1863. The children are buried on a rise overlooking the bank of the Wannon River. Catherine died 20 Nov. 1899 and was buried in Kerang. A devout Catholic, she said she had suffered her purgatory on earth and would surely go staight to heaven.
