She married Robert Pangbourne at St Peter's C of E, Melbourne, 3 March, 1850 with Robert Pohlman's (member of Melbourne orphan Committee) permission. The couple lived behind a shop, corner of Swanston and Bourke Streets, were successful on the goldfields, built a two storey house in High St., Carlton, and speculated in land in Brunswick and Phillipstown.
